About our Client - Our client is a premium player in the media and entertainment industry. Well established and headquartered from Mumbai, India- they have the intention of deepening their footprint. They offer a diverse range of end-to-end media/ broadcasting/ entertainment services. They are poised to grow rapidly and need a strong Associate Vice President- Business development (Sports) to support the growth for India
Job Description :
- Reporting to the Vice President, the incumbent will be responsible for:
- Developing business relationships with potential sponsor brands
- Leveraging relationships into acquisition of business contracts (e.g. sports properties, sponsorship & signage sales etc)
- Sponsorship sales of our Sport Events and portfolio of sport product / services
- Working with brands to develop sports events and product tailored to their requirements
- Sale of international sports event sponsorship and branding opportunities to brands
- Creation and achievement of revenue targets for new international sport properties currently being developed by the company
The Successful Candidate :
Experience - Minimum of 8 to 9 years of relevant work experience.
Qualification:
- Post Graduate degree in business management or formal sports management education will be preferred.
Industry preference:
- Direct experience in the field of sales, business development (and/or client servicing) in Media or sports industry.
