Associate - Trading - Capital Markets

Responsibilities:

- Post-trade for a flow executed by a client using our platform for trading. This can involve market study to look into outliers and introduction of new performance metrics that can help judge performance in a better light.

- Performance analysis of our platform, in general, for new client on-boarding. These analysis usually are used as marketing material to pitch our algos or platform to the clients.

- Strategy analysis, are carried out on a regular basis to keep evaluating strategies for improvement or enhancements. During such analysis, we usually come up with statistically advance metrics to judge our strategies. It also involves market microstructure studies and market statistical research.

Skills:

- Good analytical skills, high attention to detail, solid organisational and interpersonal skills.

- The ability to identify process efficiencies, suggest improvements and implement where feasible.

- Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritising multiple tasks meeting strict deadlines.

- A background in capital markets with at least 2 years’ experience.

- Ability to work well under pressure & always with a professional demeanour.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience of reporting to senior management.

- Proactive in terms of business development and effective communication to deliver projects.

- Advanced in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The following will be considered a significant advantage:

- Prior work experience in trading environment.

- Knowledge of the front to back segregation of duties within an investment bank.

- Equities system knowledge
