Associate - Telecom/Media/Technology - Investment Banking

A leading global investment bank is looking for an associate level resource to join the TMT team in India

Key tasks include :

- Preparation financial models, valuations etc

- Performing due diligence on transactions (or coordinating this activity with external service providers)

- Producing pitches and marketing docs

- Working with external counsel/relevant experts on legal opinions, offer documents, sale agreements etc

- Creating marketing materials for our equity sales organization

- Coordinating client meetings, calls, etc and generally supporting client relationship management

Requirements :

- Minimum 4 years of experience in investment banking with deep interest in and some experience in the TMT sector

- Technical knowledge will be far more valuable than pitchbook experience, including :

a. Deep understanding of accounting

b. Detailed knowledge of finance

c. Felicity with excel, specially financial modelling

d. Experience with advisory, financing and capital markets deals

- Attention to detail, embracing hard work

- Strong academic pedigree
