Opening in a Leading Financial Institute for the Role of Associate in Structured Finance

Responsibilities :

- Responsible for weekly commentary on the Revenues of the Structured Credit business to the Finance Director in London / US

- Responsible for all Balance sheet and capital analysis pertaining to the Structured Credit business

- Responsible for Business Performance reporting on a monthly / quarterly basis for the business involving all financials and executive commentary

- Responsible for coordinating the annual Planning exercise with the business and the respective Finance Director

- Responsible for driving monthly forecasting of revenues via scientific methods and basis historical trend

- Will be required to work on ad-hoc requests from the business or Finance Director for deep dives into particular areas to identify problems and propose solutions

- Drive Completeness Review Board (CRB) meetings around integrity of IPV and reserve completeness

- Manage, validate, build upon and improve the Book of Work (BoW) of the team.

- Assist the team in trouble-shooting for their book of work

Qualification :

- Degree standard education

- Professional Finance Qualification - ACA, CFA, FRM or MBA preferred

Knowledge/ Skill Set :

Experience / Background :

- 5-7 years of work experience in Product Control, with a good understanding of Risk & PL. Experience in Fixed Income products is preferred

- B/S and risk reporting, control, or analysis with a global bank

- Financial and regulatory reporting knowledge including IFRS, US GAAP, and Basel

Essentials :

- Competent use of MS-Office - specifically Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

- Good hand on Qlikview, Hyperion system is preferred.

- Working with multiple data sources and having confidence in figures and presentation

- Experience of compiling management reports in a global, complex environment

- Accuracy-driven and able to review reports and other deliverables effectively

- Delivery orientated with excellent attention to detail
