Associate/Sr Associate - Investment Banking

Designation: Associate/ Senior Associate

Company: Our client is a leading Indian Investment Bank

Location - Mumbai

Role Scope:

- Person shall be involved in M&A transactions from start to finish, while he/she masters the financial analysis and research skills requisite for the position.

Location: Mumbai

Job Objectives:

- Conducting industry research, market mapping and company-specific analysis

- Preparing marketing material for sell-side and buy-side advisory assignments

- Identifying potential acquirers (targets) for domestic and global sell side (buy side) transactions

- Interacting with clients on a regular basis and attending client meetings

- Supporting the due diligence process for the live transactions, taking complete ownership of the pitch books or financial models developed

- Carrying out intrinsic valuation using DCF techniques and comparables valuation using trading multiples

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Charted Accountant / MBA Finance with 1-3 years of experience of working in middle & front offices of an Investment bank / PE firms / Corporate Banking / Corporate Strategy teams

- He/She should possess excellent MS Office skills

- He/She should have excellent written & oral communication skills

- He/She should have excellent financial skills, ability to interpret financial statements

- He/She should be a self-starter and should be enterprising by nature

- Passion towards investment banking is a must, other skills sought include ability to multi-task, work under pressure, deal with ambiguity and successfully manage deadlines

Compensation - INR 8 lacs - INR 10 lacs
