The role is with one of the world's largest and globally renowned hedge fund client. The candidate would work in close proximity with leading PE analysts and supporting them in analysing potential investment opportunities in various sectors. Responsibilities and Performance Objectives :&nbsp; A sector agnostic role with a renowned global Hedge Fund client which will include: 1.) Building detailed financial models from scratch with appropriate revenue and cost drivers 2.) Building high level and detailed LBO models and conducting valuation analysis including IRR, Relative valuation, DCF etc. 3.) Conducting financial analysis i.e. forecasting Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, Income statement, Debt/ Financing schedule 4.) Conducting primary &amp; secondary research with strong quantitative aptitude and ability to draw inferences from a set of numbers/financials 5.) Interacting directly with the client and making presentations to internal/ external stakeholders 6.) Analyzing potential investment opportunities 7.) Clear, concise writing skills 8.) Leading simpler projects or modules of larger projects and managing 9.) High level of motivation and energy with a client servicing mindset Candidate Profile :&nbsp; 1.) B. E/ B. Tech/ Commerce graduates with an MBA degree from leading B-Schools and a strong academic background. Candidates with a CFA (US) degree would be preferred. 2.) 3-6 years of experience in Equity Research/ Private Equity/Consulting space. 3.) Ability to forecast financials statements 4.) Knowledge of LBO models, Private equity funding, capital structure 5.) Knowledge of business growth strategy and the risk/return characteristics of private equity investment opportunities 6.) Strong hold on valuation (Relative Valuation, IRR, DCF, Precedent Transaction analysis) 7.) Understanding of debt covenants 8.) Strong quantitative aptitude with hands-on experience in financial modeling is a must. 9.) High level of proficiency in MS-Office, especially MS-Excel 10.) Highly motivated and strong work ethic, Proactive self-starter, problem solving skills 11.) Previous private equity, investment banking or consulting experience (Buy side/ Sell Side) is a must 12.) Knowledge and experience of working on M&amp;A, Spin-Off, Split-Off and Carve-Out would be preferred 13.) Excellent data presentation and synthesis skills with attention to detail and the ability to quickly absorb and interpret large datasets 14.) Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
