Associate/Senior Associate - Fund Accounting - Bank

Our client, a leading global bank is looking for an Associate/Senior Associate - Fund Accounting (Hedge Funds) in Mumbai (Malad; Shift time 11 AM to 8 PM). The candidate should have 2 to 6 Years experience, be an MBA/ CA and have a background in Fund Accounting, Hedge fund accounting, NAV/GAV calculations, Management/Performance Fee Calculation, Investor Allocation. Looking for candidates from Mumbai only.

Primary Responsibilities: -

- Provide Accounting solutions to Hedge Funds

- Calculation of daily NAV.

- Review the Accounting System to custodian reconciliations and understand breaks and fails

- Perform middle office functions like P&L analysis, daily cash projections, calculations of FX transfers required for funding, checking client's contributions & redemptions etc.

- Review general ledger exceptions. Identify cause and make necessary adjustments.

- Verify performance by reviewing large P&L swings and analyzing income/expense journals for validity.

- Adjust activity as necessary for performance management processing and reporting.

- Responsible for accruing daily or monthly non-security related accruals including management fees and financing accruals.

- Process non-automated transactions including OTC derivatives and their related cash movements.

- Perform daily and monthly securities pricing analysis.

- Validate and process corporate action data.
