Associate / Senior Associate, Forensic Accounting, Global Forensics and Disputes (2-6 yrs)

The Position :

As an Associate / Senior Associate in Global Forensics and Disputes Group, the successful candidate will :

- Review documents/information to identify items relevant to investigation or dispute consulting matter

- Compile and analyze facts to formulate, substantiate and/or critique various hypothesis / theories, claims and/or conclusions to support the evidence

- Assist in developing and/or evaluating damages, claims and calculations in dispute scenarios

- Perform accounting or other research required for clients across a diverse range of industries

- Perform analysis of accounting, finance, economic issues in the context of business transactions

- Manage the receipt and tracking of documents and information from clients and facilitate process with other personnel

- Draft findings/observations and prepare tables, exhibits, annexures and charts

- Assist with engagement management administration, including budgeting, billing and conflict checks

- Communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management and client personnel; Draft internal and external communications

- Assist in the coaching, mentoring and counseling of junior staff

- Assist in research market issues and identify market opportunities

The Requirements :

Applicants should meet the following criteria :

- Chartered Accountant with atleast 2 years of experience in combination of auditing, forensic accounting, investigation and/or litigation consulting roles required. Big 4/public accounting firm experience would be preferred.

- Experience in conducting multiple kind of engagements, investigations, compliance reviews.

- Ability to analyze companies from a financial, operational and industry perspective

- Strong PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills

- Effective communication skills required - written and oral ability to communicate research topics, and more complex concepts in discussion with case managers

- Effective interpersonal skills - good team player with the ability to work under pressure

- Highly motivated and able to work with limited oversight in a sometimes fast paced and demanding environment
