Associate/Senior Associate - Finance & Operations - CA

Candidate reports to Head of Finance (BPEA Credit)

Qualification: CA with 6 to 8 years of experience, experience in AIF industry is must

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ KEY RESULT AREAS

1. Accounting

a. Managing and maintaining accounting for all fund entities (onshore/ offshore)

b. Monthly and annual closings and MIS

c. Closing audits with focus on accuracy and timeliness

2. Finance & cash operations

a. Managing and maintaining all banking and other payment related relationships, bank accounts, overdrafts and borrowings

b. Responsible for all fund operations like capital calls, cash deployment (treasury), approvals, investment and divestment details

c. Making distribution computation, payments of all statutory and other payments in a timely manner

3. Regulatory, Tax & Compliance

a. Regulatory & Compliance: compliance with all regulations, keeping track of all regulations, analysing impact and escalating to management, regulatory reporting in a timely manner

b. Statutory - Compliance with all statutory matters - payments, reporting, changes, interpretations, responding to queries and matters in time, proactively driving timely and appropriate resolution of all matters

c. Responsible for compliance with all fund (AIF) documentation

d. Familiar with Companies Act, Fema

4. Investor relations & communications

a. Preparing draft investor communication, sending out regular and one off reports, responding to and resolving queries, ensuring appropriate turnaround time for all matters

b. Quarterly reports, special reports, tax matters, communication with respect to any changes, etc.

5. Excel modelling- conversant with creating fund models. Should have done Auditing in AIF.

6. Should have excellent communication skills and should be conversant/confident with making presentations to the senior management team.
