Associate/Senior Associate - Analytics/Statistician - IIT/NIT/BITS/DSE

We are hiring for the role of Analytics Associate/Sr. Analytics Associate (Statistician) for our Gurgaon office.

Job Responsibilities for Sr. Analytics Associate:

- Apply statistical methods to answer business and engineering questions while handling large datasets.

- Use statistics and predictive modeling to collect, explore, and identify the right data to be analyzed from multiple sources, then construct algorithms to explain or predict behavior and solve a variety of business and engineering problems.

- Design and implement statistical experiments to maximize site performance and profit as well as minimize and manage risk of revenue loss.

- Extract and transform data from existing data stores and perform ad-hoc statistical analyses.

- Build predictive models using data, test the model on results outside of the sample size and verify the validity of model in real business situations.

- Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance.

- Assist managers with finding patterns and relationships in data.

- Develop bidding and optimization algorithms to maximize the efficiency of our marketing strategies.

Requirements:

- Bachelor/Master's degree in Engineering, Applied Maths, Statistics or other quantitative fields. (must be from TIER-1 and TIER-2 colleges like IIT/NIT/BITS/DSE)

- Highly Proficient in R . Exposure to other platforms like Python/SAS is a plus.

- 2-4 years of work experience involving quantitative data analysis in the statistics/analytics field. Good to have Digital Marketing/e-Commerce domain experience.

- Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive.

- Good exposure towards machine learning algorithms & statistical methods

- Experimental design

- Analysis of variance / Regression

- Logistic regression

- Clustering - Hierarchial/Kmeans

- Principal Component Analysis

- Non-parametric statistics

- Classification algorithms - SVM/Random Forest

- Time-series analysis.

- Experience with data visualization tools & Packages.

- Ability to explain results and statistical concepts to both technical and non-technical audience.

Job Location- Gurgaon

Salary- Open for right candidate

Shift Timings:- 7:30 am-4:30 pm (Monday to Friday)
