Associate - Quantitative Strategy Analyst

ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES:

Looking to hire a Quantitative Strategy Analyst at Associate level in its Strategic Beta team in Passive Asset Management. The global team is responsible for structuring innovative model portfolios using Passive building blocks, that suit specific client or client groups- requirement. The current Mumbai team is

being enhanced by adding people with strong quantitative/structuring backgrounds who can help the global team in fulfilling that mandate.

The individual's responsibilities include taking ownership of the following:

- Assisting in the development of new systematic investment strategies and in the Model Portfolio Platform

- Developing innovative structures and solutions around

competitor analysis

benchmarking

back-testing strategies and portfolios

modelling

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

The candidate is likely to have between 3 to 6 years of experience in the finance industry and a strong academic background (MsC or Ph.D.) in an area related to mathematical finance, strong software development skill, and the ability to apply this knowledge in a business environment.

- Exceptional analytical skills, interpersonal skills and a strong team player.

- Strong programming skills in R and VBA

- Good knowledge of Databases

- Strong ability to communicate concisely orally and in writing.

- Strong ability to manage and prioritize numerous tasks simultaneously.
