Associate - Private Equity - IIM/ISB/FMS/MDI

Private Equity Associate (Tier 1 colleges only)

Responsibilities :

- Participate as an active member of the assigned portfolio organization, supporting the - business - primarily through analyzing company data and distilling operational insights

- Conduct presentations to potential partners, senior members in investee organizations and firm management with recommendations for changes in business strategy

- Lead selected initiatives with company executives from CEO to senior management and colleagues across the partner organizations, working with various departments to - execute the respective value creation plans, up until successful implementation.

- Drive real operating change and generate value in a private equity environment, with an "owner's mindset".

- Act as a mentor and coach to junior colleagues (Analysts), leading as a team lead/resource to guide them through data gathering, market research and analytics of various business indicators.

Requirements :

- MBA from tier 1 Indian institute or Ivy League college

- Analytical, research and communication skills (presentation, conversational and written)

- Formal working experience in a related field either in consulting or operational role while a combination of both is preferred.

- Active interest in investments, finance, and business consulting

- Would require a minimum of 5 years formal experience in the relevant field.
