- This is about an opportunity as Assistant Plant Manager, this person will be responsible for handling Manufacturing/Production, operations, Quality Assurance, System Implementation and Improvement, Maintenance &amp; Engineering, Administration - Handling Manpower both Permanent and Contractual both unionized and non unionized environment. - Developing new process concepts for production optimization, yield improvement and develop Systems &amp; guidelines for the sequencing of manufacturing activities on the shop floor. - Executing cost saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction expenditures and work within the budget. - Planning day-to-day activities, production schedules, implementing TPM tools and allocating work for achieving of production targets. - Ensuring adherence to quality standards and identifying areas of quality failures and take steps to rectify the system. Practicing quality standards with key emphasis on improving quality. Work Location : Vietnam Education : B.E./B. Tech KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manufacturing Operations - Meet finished goods delivery schedule - Day/week wise production planning based on monthly plan and organizing resource w.r.t man, machine, material - Co-ordinating cross-functionally for achieving the same - Ensure maximum equipment utilization and operational efficiency of the plant. - Improve machine uptime by implementing effective maintenance schedule along with maintenance team Managing written procedures (SOP- s) for production and process control designed to assure that the process will work as designed and consistently and give same quality product batch after batch. - Establish Control procedures to monitor the output and validate the performance of those manufacturing processes that may be responsible for causing variability in the characteristics of in-process material and the product. Efficiency and Cost Management - Managing fixed and variable cost within budget - Deliver cost savings targets (CEP) - Improving plant operational efficiency - Implementing system of daily measurement of labor, power &amp; fuel cost and developing strategies to reduce them - Implement systems and processes to generate and implement continuous improvement activities on cost - Improve manpower productivity through automation and time-motion study - Implement and train personnel on TQM &amp; Qnext programme Quality - Consistent quality delivery and ensure no substandard product leaves factory - Ensuring quality and process SOPs are adhered to during manufacturing - Strengthening online checks and process corrections based on feedback - Conducting required quality meetings among Production, Quality, Maintenance, HR to review previous results and take corrective action - Consumer Complain analysis to eliminate root cause. - Formulate process to comply with ISO, HACCP, GMP standards and Internal Audit requirements New Technology - Participate in new product trials and stabilization in factories - Recommend and implement initiatives related to new technology, new machineries to improve productivity and quality Provide Engineering Support - Prepare plans for preventive maintenance and spares procurement; Develop technology and suppliers for new equipment; Develop designs and electronic instruments for Zero FBC issues; Analyse feasibility of technology initiatives and develop machinery along with engineering team.
