- Team is seeking a Head of Testing and Quality Engineering Practice with extensive experience in both functional and non-functional testing, including knowledge in both waterfall, agile and scaled agile testing frameworks, sales and delivery of testing projects, and a deep understanding of the latest trends in testing tools and methodologies, as well as experience with generative AI and next generation testing technologies.

- Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading large scale client delivery and large testing teams while delivering high-quality testing solutions across multiple regions and domains.

- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the practice that aligns with the overall business objectives and growth plans, while continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation

- Develop and execute the practice's strategic objectives and annual plans, including utilization and delivery targets, resource management, training & development plans, supporting sales/ solutioning and responding to RFP's/ proposal for testing

- Lead and manage a team of skilled professionals in planning, designing and implementing various testing strategies and methodologies

- Oversee the delivery of testing services, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with testing/ technology colleagues across member firms, ensure customer satisfaction, and promote the company's testing capabilities and new technologies/tools

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors, to drive business development and growth opportunities.

- Collaborate with the regional Quality Engineering leadership teams(s) on planning, selling and delivery of projects.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and business teams to ensure high quality software delivery

- Keep abreast of the latest technologies, developments in the field of testing, and promote the adoption of modern testing technologies and methods

- Monitor and analyze the practice's key performance metrics and use data-driven insights to make informed decisions, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the long-term success of the Testing Group.

- Create a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team, promoting the importance of a growth mindset and encouraging team members to develop their skills and capabilities.

Educational qualification - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field

Work experience - Minimum 20+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on quality engineering and testing strategy, planning, and execution

- Proven success in managing and growing a multi-regional testing team, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate team members located in multiple regions around the world

- Proven experience in selling and delivering testing projects and developing business opportunities

- Deep understanding of testing frameworks, methodologies, and best practices, and hands-on experience using different testing tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, JMeter, Opkey, Appium etc.

- Knowledge of DevOps, Agile, and Continuous Integration and Delivery methodologies as well as experience with generative AI and next generation testing technologies

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen and understand diverse perspectives, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

- A growth mindset, with a strong interest in staying current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the software testing field.

- The ideal candidate will have experience with delivering Testing programs in multiple regions and locations around the world.
