Position Description:

CTM is responsible for effective matching of trades in DB's clearing system and ensuring trades are captured in books and records. Trades executed and/or cleared by the brokers are to be cleared correctly to Client accounts and also trades to be given up correctly on trade day. The associate's core responsibility would be to ensure these activities are carried out effectively on a day to day basis with no impact to bank and to its clients.

Position Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities

- Responsible for a diverse team clearing all listed Futures and Options business transacted on all of the major European derivatives exchanges.

- Ensure accurate and timely trade capture across all major listed derivatives European markets.

- Top-day trade allocation management using Clearvision, ESpear, DOMS, Globe, dbLava and various exchange GUIs, ensuring overview is kept at all times.

- Ensure all trade amendments, required close outs, prices and rates inputs in GMI are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

- Ensure timely and accurate processing of average price trades.

- Ensure all required clearing transactions on T+1, such as historic Give-Ups, Take-Ups, positions transfers with other brokers and T+1 trade amendments in GMI are performed accurately and in a timely manner.

- Manage EOD processing and handover to other location.

- Perform/assign required testing for system upgrades.

- Ensure required 4eye checks are performed diligently.

- Awareness of risks attached and escalate potential risks to the bank to Ops Management.

- Investigate and provide feedback on teams performance, manage teams benchmark misses, KPIs and create required incident reports.

- Represent team in regular calls, i.e. weekly management calls, IT Calls, etc.

- Respond to internal and external email communications.

- Monitor and control daily processes and ensure completeness and timeliness.

- Manage, motivate, challenge and encourage team members on an individual basis.

- Ensure proper cross training to avoid key man dependencies.

- Challenge status quo existing processes and drive enhancements.

People Management : NA

Experience/ Exposure

- Strong Futures & Options business and market knowledge

- Minimum 2 - 3 Years experience in Listed Derivatives ideally in Clearing

- Minimum 1 - 2 Years experience in Client facing role

Education/ Qualifications

Graduate or Post Graduate in Commerce/Finance

Skills:

- Analytical ability to perform complex clearing tasks

- Sound desktop PC skills including Microsoft Office

- Strong knowledge of GMI and Clearvision

- Sound knowledge of European Exchange GUIs

- Ability to work quick and accurately, even under tight deadlines
