Associate - Market Prime Finance

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for global financial analytics for Market Prime Finance products

- Responsible for preparation, delivery and control of Revenue, Cost and B/S Analysis globally

- Understand various business drivers reflected in the management reports and highlight key variances, opportunities and issues to the regional and global management teams

- Understand the drivers for change in products like in areas of Securities Lending products, Prime Brokerage, OTC and Listed Derivatives.

- Work with global and regional COOs, Finance directors and managers to proactively identify and implement improvements to the way in which different processes works from a business driver perspective

- Develop and run business driven operational metrics seeking continuous business improvement and drive projects assigned to the team

- Act as a resource to facilitate complex problem solving and issue resolution

- Standardization of MI across all products within Market Prime Finance

PERSON SPECIFICATION

- 5-8 years of post qualification experience in analytics or management accounting, preferably in investment banking industry.

- Capability to drive business discussions and provide thought leadership

- Need to have wider understanding on products falling under the purview of Listed Derivatives, Securities Lending and Prime Brokerage businesses.

- Experience in Equities products would be preferred.

- Proactive and self starter personality with keen sense on client management and business delivery

- Experience of working in KPI-driven, performance-metric focused business environment

- Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, solid organizational & interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong Excel, Powerpoint and Word skills required. Knowledge of Essbase and other BI tools will be preferred.
