Details about the position:

Position: Associate Manager - Transitions and CI

Location: Mumbai

Requisites:

- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting / MBA

- 4-5 years of transition management (2 year in Project Management), service delivery and continuous improvement experience in well-established and reputable service delivery organizations

- Experience in leading process transitions from onshore to offshore locations

- Experience in Outsourcing (Shared Services) required

- Knowledge of Finance and Accounting processes preferred

- Strong project management experience and skills required

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with other members of the finance team and across the global organization

- Managing through ambiguity, working with diverse teams, change agent and consistent execution on deliverables

- Team work and must be able to work within a collaborative and matrix environment

- Ability to effectively lead change management and process definition

- Excellent command over the English language (both verbal and written) with ability to articulate succinctly and clearly

- Expertise in Continuous Improvement Tools (Lean or Six Sigma or Kaizen) required

- Experience in multinational company a plus

Responsibilities:

- Support Transition & Service delivery methodology (TSDM) and principles within organization and with customers

- Assist operational teams in TSDM techniques and processes

- Maintain educational and project library

- Provide guidance/support in service delivery and transition management

- Provide appropriate project management oversight over all ongoing transitions. Ensure all major transitions from onshore to offshore are executed utilizing the defined TSDM methodologies

- Publish key metrics across all transitions

- Assist as a solutions design consultant to identify the future state of business process once the process is migrated to the offshore location

- Develop training material required for the TSDM program

- Through training, guidance and effective execution, ensure organization derives positive outcomes and customer delight once processes are transitioned to Mumbai

- Using CI tools and techniques such as VSM, conduct process reviews before transitioning processes from onshore to offshore

- Support Project Management Office
