Job Responsibilities :

- Background in Financial Accounting with strong accounting skills preferred.

- Working knowledge of reconciliations.

- Good at Excel, PowerPoint and access.

- Ability to analyze and interpret huge sets of data.

- Good at written and Verbal communication.

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills; sound judgment

- Ability to lead and influence without having positional authority. Strong team-orientation and leadership skills

- People Management experience for at least 5 years.

- Preparing daily and monthly metrics published to the management showing the KPI's of the team.

- Self starter who drives initiatives for process improvements/enhancements.

- Having an eye to detail with control centric approach

Experience/Background/Key Competencies :

- Graduate with 8+ years experience/MBA CA with 4-6 years of exp

- Background in Financial Accounting with strong accounting skills preferred.

- Has to be extremely client-focused and result-oriented in approach

- Strong people, project and process management skills

- Ability to develop strong client relationships and gain consensus on key decisions

- Ability to communicate effectively at many levels of the organization including senior management

- Strong control orientation

- Excellent Communication verbal and written

- Ability to work in strict timelines.

The General Ledger Ops team is a part of the Financial Platform Control team in Global Finance Ops (GFO). The team owns the Corporate General Ledger of the Firm and maintains control over several activities executed in the GL Space. The daily activities performed by the NA GL Ops team ensure the integrity and completeness of the Financial data in the Corporate General Ledger of the Bank. The NA GL Ops team carries out several activities on a daily basis and provides month end support to various LOB's for processing normal and post close adjustments in the GL. Team performs control checks for CDGL application.
