Associate Manager - Macro Strategy - Investment Bank

Role:

The position is of an Associate with a Top ranking strategy team with a reputed Investment bank client of ours. The candidate will work closely with analysts associated with the cross asset strategy team of the bank.

Primary responsibilities include :

- Tracking economic data and analyzing its impact on different asset classes like FX, Rates, Equities and Credit.

- Developing and maintaining dashboards to track macro-economic developments.

- Adhoc projects which includes data gathering/analysis, preparation of marketing presentations etc.

- Writing market commentaries

- Providing end to end support for report publication.

- Financial modelling and macro-economic and quantitative/econometric research involving statistical analysis.

Skills Required :

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in macro strategy, MBA in Finance or Post Graduate Degree in Economics. The candidate should have understanding of financial databases like Bloomberg, Haver, Datastream and working knowledge of statistical packages like E-views/R would be an added advantage.
