Associate Manager - Legal - Contract Management

Position: Associate Manager Legal

Experience: 3-7 yrs

Location: Bangalore

Skills: worked on ICERTIS is a must

Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):

- Bachelor degree in law required - good understanding of legal terminology

- At least 3 years of relevant or transferrable experience in either a law firm or an in-house legal department

- Strong IT skills and aptitude to implement and work with IT systems (such as digital contract management systems and e-billing systems)

- Drafting legal documentation

- Ability to excel under tight and stressful deadlines

- Must be a self-starter; Strong organizational skills

- Willingness to accommodate other time zones, most importantly US EST (morning)

Preferred experience and/or skills:

- Experience using one or more of applications (CounselLink, and Icertis)

- Good communicator

- Ability to understand technical issues and partner with IT and/or vendor as needed

- Ability to understand issues and communicate solutions simply to end-users

- High level of professionalism; exceptional client services skills; handles sensitive/confidential information with appropriate care

- Well organized and efficient; consistently completes projects on-time with great attention to detail

- Eager to learn new things and apply knowledge to improve/simplify processes

- Strives to gain strong institutional knowledge about department and company processes

- Successfully handle assignments with minimal supervision

- Takes ownership of an issue once aware of it and goes the extra step to proactively seek out answers to problems that may fall outside his/her area of expertise

- Consistently looks for ways to improve/enhance processes, find efficiencies, think creatively

- Shows flexibility as workload fluctuates

- Strong business acumen and mindset towards collaboration.
