Associate Manager-Cyber Security

Functional Responsibility :

- Manage The CSIRT team which focuses on responding to and containing security incidents.

- Develop and direct the team through tactical response procedures to prioritize detect, analyze and investigate cybersecurity incidents.

- Lead the design, implementation, and administration of cybersecurity incident response programs across people, process and technologies.

- Manage incident response procedures and ensure they align with Enterprise Incident Response standards and industry best practices.

Operational Responsibilities :

- Manage day to day operation for the team

- Drive team performance and measure key performance indicators.

- Handle Incident escalations.

- Collaborate across boundaries to identify the scope of improvement in Incident Response.

- Ensure incidents are handled with excellence.

- Oversee and keep an eye on everyday progress on tasks.

- Fine-tuning of the current detection rules.

- Lead debrief meetings for incidents.

- Preferred certification : CISSP and GCIH, ECIH or CySA+.

People Responsibilities :

- Manage training and development for CSIRT.

- Performance Management of team members

- Individual Development Plans

- Regular 1:1 and feedback

- Individual growth

Education:

- Min Degree Requirement: Bachelors

- Preferred Degree Requirement: Masters

- Preferred Professional Certifications: CISSP and GCIH, ECIH or CySA+

Experience:

- Min years of related experience: 5 years

- Preferred years of related experience: 10 years

- Previous experience in supporting & leading a team environment in a global matrixed organization

- Global business engagement

- Can prioritize & complete multiple tasks on tight deadlines

- Excellent people management skills that involve building teamwork, mentoring and developing teams

- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks on tight deadlines

- Lead the team from front providing directions

Practical knowledge of IT Security related technologies, procedures, and best practices
