Associate(Manager)/AVP - MB Servicing Controller/UK Shift/Bangalore  We have an opening for MB Reporting for Manager & AVP roles with one of the leading MNC in Bangalore.   Note: Office Time : 1pm to 10pm  Transportation is provided (To & Fro)  Job Description   Associate - MB Servicing Controller-150115967  GENERAL LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY  - Professional accounting position with complex assignments, diversified duties and coordination of related assignments are typical  - Makes routine decisions and determines proper course of action  - May develop processes and procedures  - Judgement and independent decision making required for complex issues  TYPICAL JOB DUTIES:  - Responsible for preparing accurate financial statements and reports for management on a timely basis  - Responsible for elements of the month-end close process  - Investigates variances in account balances on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis and provides explanations  - May prepare financial statements or reports required by external auditors or regulatory authorities  - Maintain automated accounting systems and using computer resources to generate periodic reports and statements  - Represent LOB Controller team in remediation or other projects  - Partner with Financial Controller team to assist with analysis and/or reporting of balance sheet accounts  - CA with emphasis in Finance, Accounting or other quantitative/business discipline.   - 5+ years- experience in the financial services industry, preferably within the Mortgage Servicing. A solid understanding of mortgage banking accounting, operations and modifications will be crucial to this role.   - 5+ years- experience in a finance or accounting reporting role   - Strong knowledge of US GAAP  - Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and take on different roles   - Strong oral and written communication skills. Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.   - Self-starter with ability to take initiative and constantly challenge the status quo   - Team player that can partner effectively across organization to help drive report/project completion within deadlines   - Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and quality are critical.   - Strong working knowledge of MS Excel is preferred.
