Job description - Prepare various regular strategy reports like corporate earnings preview or review, institutional share holding analysis etc - Prepare thematic reports on economy, Budget, politics, overall equity market etc - Develop and maintain model portfolio - Develop investment strategies including back-testing - Build macro models, analyze and monitor broad macro by tracking various high frequency indicators - Conduct channel checks with dealers etc to understand the pulse and new trends in overall economy - Address investor and sales queries and closely work with entire research and sales team Skills - Good in doing statistical analysis and have working knowledge of R, Stata etc - Strong skills in maintaining databases, excel and power point - Possess good writing and communication skills - Attention to detail - Self motivated and strong interest in equities - Ability to work with minimal guidance and deliver under strict time guidelines At least 2 years of experience, preferably in Institutional equity Broking industry & any education or work experience in Economics will be an added advantage
