Associate - M&A/Corporate Strategy - BFSI

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Drive market scanning to identify potential investment/acquisition targets both in the domestic as well as international markets.

- Handle exhaustive research on new sectors for investment including target companies, global and listed parallels in the segment.

- Build financial models, Investment Committee Memos and Investment Memorandums.

- Support all stages of the investment process including origination, valuation, due diligence, transaction execution and integration

- Collaborate with internal leaders to evaluate opportunities, analyzing the opportunity and presenting recommendations based on strategic fit and integration plan for future

- Post investment work closely with the investee companies in monitoring performance and ensuring value creation

- Competition benchmarking for existing businesses

Qualification & Experience:

- Good understanding of overall investment process including term sheets, diligence and definitive documentation

- Good educational qualifications with minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience

- Experience with Investment Banks, Private Equity or Big 4 transaction advisory.
