Associate in Investment Banking

Location: Bangalore, India

Our client is seeking an Associate for its Investment Banking vertical. The ideal candidate will have had some finance experience, preferably having worked as an entry-level professional in investment banking, or related fields, and who is interested in working in a small-team environment with a high degree of client contact.

Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate's role will include :

- Providing support in the execution of structured real estate transactions, land transactions, debt syndication and certain principal investment opportunities

- Providing support to firm's principals in client acquisition and idea generation

- Preparing pitches to secure new clients

- Preparing Information Memorandums for mandated transactions

- Preparing detailed cash-flows and investment notes for transactions

Minimum Required Skills:

- Experience in Excel financial modeling, including detailed income statement forecasting, multiple scenario analysis and capital structure modeling

Basic understanding of corporate finance, including:

- Valuation: Discounted Cash Flow and Return Analysis

- Understanding different types of debt and equity securities, pertaining to real estate

- Basic understanding of property markets, especially in metropolitan cities of Mumbai, NCR, Bangalore and Pune including development control regulations, assets, developers and recent property cycles
