Associate - International Taxation - Private Equity Firm

We are hiring for Associate - International Taxation role based with a Private Equity MNC in Mumbai.

Job Responsibilities :

Working closely with the two International Tax Associate Directors in London, the International Tax Associate will have responsibility for :

- Co-ordination of the preparation, review and filing of CIT and VAT returns across multiple jurisdictions - technical knowledge of the tax regimes of European jurisdictions would be an advantage but is not essential.

- Co-ordination of the review and approval of new tax compliance engagements with third party advisors e.g. working with the legal team to review engagement letters

- The agreement and tracking of fees with third party advisors (Big 4), based on pre-agreed budgets, and arranging the payment of invoices.

- Using data to assist with the analysis of global trends, to inform decisions as to optimal holding jurisdictions and structures.

- Ensuring that the firm and its investment funds are compliant with the EU Mandatory Disclosure Regime 

- To include the co-ordination of intermediaries and the filing of returns
