Position- Associate

Responsibilities
- Core focus: Takes Ownership and Accountability for activity within all Hospitality verticals i.e. Food Services, Reception, Conferencing and Event Management
- Support the business manager in development of the Bengaluru Hospitality, document management, travel & ground transportation strategies in line with regional and global directions, to ensure the effective delivery of the various services to meet our future business requirements
- Build strong working relationships, and engage with all stakeholders to drive the business strategy at a macro level. Ensure strategic alignment with counterparts within regions
- Client focus, managing and exceeding expectations by continuously enhancing service levels
- Refine processes, formulate standard operating procedures and carry out periodic assessment, review and improvements
- Review daily operations data and drive interpretation and analysis with the team
- Risk management and control through audits, compliance and other governance initiatives
- Budgeting, expense management and financial due diligence
- Ensure commercial effectiveness by optimizing resources, reducing wastage, cost avoidance and ensuring invoicing to the Firm is accurate
- Proactively liaise with internal stakeholders to advance commercial and operational objectives and efficiency
- Present sound, persuasive rationale for ideas or opinions. Take a position on issues and influence others' opinions with persuasive recommendations
- Drive annual business goals of Hospitality Operations and achieve individual objectives along the way
Experience/Skills
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Hospitality Operations management in a fast-paced corporate organization, preferably hotels. Experience in managing large-scale conferences a definite advantage
- Personal integrity, initiative, leadership qualities and the ability to work as part of a team in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy
- Effective role model/strong leadership skills
- Proven ability to develop credibility with clients and to build and maintain relationships
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining high quality standards
- Ability to adapt style as the situation requires and remain flexible
- Strong negotiating/commercial skills
