Role:

- We are seeking a dynamic individual to join the GM CAO - Business Management team, based in Mumbai. The individual would be part of the AEJ (Asia ex-Japan) GM Business Management team and would be dedicated to working with the India local GM business - both Fixed Income and Equities.

- The individual will join an existing team of Business Managers and would be working closely with the India Global Markets CAO.

- He will assume day-to-day responsibilities which will contribute towards business management, performance monitoring, managing processes which support India Local GM business as well as driving key business initiatives that are critical for the growth and day to day operation of the franchise.

- The role would require working with all the functions in the GM space - Trading, Sales, Research & Structuring and with all the Corporate functions.

Responsibilities:

- Owning and Driving business initiatives to achieve GM business objectives; both regional and global in nature

- Strategic Business Analysis, Management Presentations

- Management presentations to analyze and summarize revenue, expenses, resource consumption, client interactions and other management reporting metrics.

- Create business plans - help quantify new business opportunities in partnership with business managers / Front Office as well as corporate functions

- Monitor preparation / Prepare weekly business summaries which include financial metrics and business commentary for Senior Management.

- Partnering with Corporate functions - Operations, Finance, Technology, Compliance and others.

- To own day to day issues pertaining to corporate function and ensure closure.

- Drive the process for new products from the front office in co-ordination with the front office/ new products team and corporate functions

- Control and Conduct

- Ensuring adherence to business policies.

- Owning Audit points and driving closure

- Expense approval, tracking and expense management.

- Owning business continuity management (BCM)

- Front Office Supervision (FOS)

Key Skills:

- Good Knowledge of Capital Market products and asset classes (Fixed Income, Equities, Forex, Derivatives)

- Good understanding of the Trade Lifecycle and various Corporate functions along the Trade Life cycle

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and regional counterparts at senior levels

- Strong Analytical and Situational Problem solving skills.

- Good project management skills - planning, coordination/ execution, senior management reporting, situational

- Prior experience of driving initiatives in the Global Markets space.

- Is entrepreneurial and independent; a self-starter, takes ownership, exhibits integrity, initiative, strong motivation and attention to detail

- Ability to prioritize high volumes of deliverables across multiple disciplines working under pressure

- Good MS Power-point, Excel and Word skills

- Ambition and enthusiasm to succeed in this challenging role

- Prior experience in strategy roles would be an added advantage
