Associate - Financial Modeling/Valuation/Due Diligence - TMT Sector - Investment Bank

A leading global investment bank is looking for an associate level resource to join the TMT sector team to be located in Hong Kong and work on regional transactions (SEA and India).

Key tasks include :

- Preparation financial models, valuations etc

- Performing due diligence on transactions (or coordinating this activity with external service providers)

- Producing pitches and marketing docs

- Working with external counsel/relevant experts on legal opinions, offer documents, sale agreements etc

- Creating marketing materials for our equity sales organization

- Coordinating client meetings, calls, etc and generally supporting client relationship management

Requirements :

- Minimum 4 years of experience in investment banking with deep interest in and interest knowledge of the TMT sector across the region

- Regional TMT deal exposure will be a plus

- Technical knowledge will be far more valuable than pitchbook experience, including :

a. Deep understanding of accounting

b. Detailed knowledge of finance

c. Felicity with excel, specially financial modelling

d. Experience with advisory, financing and capital markets deals

- Attention to detail, embracing hard work

- Strong academic pedigree
