Job Description - The Associate should have the ambition to master financial modeling within 6-9 months of joining, thereafter, focus on financial structures and contracts. The Associate should be able to graduate to Senior Associate in two years and be able to independently manage an engagement.

Work Profile :

- Financial Modeling: Developing and auditing high-end, complex financial models of international standards, ensuring compliance with project documents and applicable accounting & taxation practices, analyzing key business drivers and handholding clients on risk/return analysis

- Scenario and sensitivity analysis

- Business Valuations and Investment Analysis: Evaluating businesses to analyze investment opportunities, performing due diligence and performing valuations exercise

- Contract Analysis: Reviewing project documents to assess the commercial and contractual implications under various contracts; specifically for Project Financing structures

- Business Writing: Preparing reports, Information Memoranda, summary and presentations as required by the nature of assignment

- Participate in negotiations with Project Affiliates: Participating to negotiate commercial and contractual aspects of the projects with banks/financial institutions, contractors, and other third parties

- International Travel: The candidate may be required to travel overseas to client sites

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering plus MBA / PGDM (in finance) from a premier academic institute

Additional qualifications: CFA

Work Experience: At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience required. Experience with banks or funds or similar advisory entities, prior knowledge on managing financial models and contract analysis is preferable. Work experience in Transport Sector will be an added advantage.
