Equity Research

- Equity Research Associate, Institutional equities, India Metals and Minings

- Prepared research reports on stocks under coverage including quarterly results, sector reports, special reports, news updates, management call/company visit notes.

- Tracking daily sector updates and regularly updating clients to discuss sector and stock ideas.

- Understanding of sector and business of companies under coverage, Equity Valuation (DCF and Multiples) Report Writing Initiating Coverage, Financial Statement Projections.

- Co-ordinated with colleagues across teams of retail, telecom, power and auto sector for preparation of thematic Reports. A recipient of research collaborative excellence award for collaboration across region, sectors and asset class.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyzing Financial and Econometric trends

- Tracking developments in the sector and relevant companies

- Writing quarterly/monthly reports on major companies

- Carrying out modeling and analyzing current and future valuation

- Interacting with corporates and institutional clients

- Well networked and up to date with key developments in the domain

Key Result Areas:

- Working with the lead analyst to write impactful Research Reports

- Consistency in Quality, Quantity and timing of Analysis

- Independently handling sector databases, company models and investors queries/requests

Relevant Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

- Analytical skills and domain knowledge

- Entrepreneurial Attitude

Candidate's Profile:

- Candidate must have 4-5 years of prior relevant experience

- MBA from a top tiered school or CA/CFA

Qualification: Post-graduate; Preferably (CA/ MBA in Finance)
