Associate - Equity Research - IT Services

Responsibilities:

As an Equity Research Associate for the IT Services & Internet sector, your responsibilities may include:

- Conducting in-depth research on companies within the IT Services & Internet sector, including financial analysis, industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.

- Building financial models and creating earnings estimates, price targets, and investment recommendations for companies within the sector.

- Communicating research findings and investment recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and discussions.

- Maintaining relationships with industry experts, company management, and sell-side analysts to gather information and insights.

- Monitoring and analyzing market and industry developments, news, and events that could impact the performance of companies within the sector.

- Contributing to the development and execution of broader research initiatives, such as sector-wide reports and thematic research pieces.

- Collaborating with other members of the research team to share ideas, insights, and best practices.

- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in the IT Services & Internet sector, as well as the broader technology landscape.

Skills:

- To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- A good understanding of finance, financial markets, and accounting

- Excellent MS Excel skills, including advanced Excel

- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy, as well as diligence and hard work

- The ability to articulate well to clients over phone and email

- A willingness to stretch and be proactive

- To be a strong team player

Education:

- An MBA (Finance), Chartered Accountant pursuing or cleared, or CFA certification is required for this role.

Experience

- 2 years+

- Prior experience in equity research is preferred.
