Associate - Equity Research - Autos/Autos Ancillary

Job Description:

Our client, an Indian institutional equity broker, is seeking an Equity Research Associate to cover the listed companies in the auto and auto ancillary sector. This role reports to the sector lead and requires in-depth research and financial analysis of companies under coverage.

Responsibilities:

- Conducting thorough analysis of companies in the auto and auto ancillary sector

- Creating financial models and forecasts using various methodologies

- Developing sector expertise and staying up-to-date with the latest market trends and news

- Collaborating with the team on research reports and investment recommendations

- Building relationships with company management and industry experts

- Participating in client meetings and presentations

Experience:

- 3-5 years of experience in equity research, preferably covering the auto and auto ancillary sector

Education:

- MBA or CA degree is required, CFA certification is a plus

Skills:

- Strong financial modeling skills and familiarity with different methodologies

- Sound knowledge of accounting and financial statement analysis

- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
