Associate Director/VP - Real Estate Private Equity

Required for Venture Capital & Private Equity firm.

Industry : Real Estate Private Equity (Investments)

- Experience in identifying, analyzing, investing and monitoring attractive investment opportunities (Real Estate and Equities)

The role envisages the following activities :

- Responsible for innovative investment ideas, deal sourcing, evaluation and recommendation of opportunities in the sector/s under focus. Display ownership by consistently contributing to enhance research and evaluation quality

- Assist in formulation of strategies on product launches for new Fund types, review existing products in order to meet investor expectations and position the Real Estate Fund competitively in the industry

- Helping Investment Managers to prepare investment note/ presentation for consideration of Senior Management, IC, Directors etc., as the case may be and assist with data and facts on the potential investment

- To achieve strong, consistent and dependable sense of ownership of portfolio companies as well as the ones which are under consideration, by tracking portfolio companies performance, bench-marking with industry, peers and prepare periodic report to be perused by Senior management Team

- Allot responsibility based on capabilities of team members reporting to role holder, monitor team performance, and identify training opportunities in order to develop talented professionals.

- Developer due diligence (assessment of past track record, management team, execution capabilities, credit history, etc.)

- Negotiation, structuring and underwriting of the transaction covering

- Monitoring of deals during investment period.

- Review of internal audit reports, variance analysis & coordination with developers for day to day work
