Associate Director/VP - Credit

Required for a Listed Non Banking Finance Company (NBFC)

About the Company :

The company is a leading listed NBFC. Currently they have two business verticals :

Wholesale Lending : Majorly catering to Real Estate Project finance

SME / Retail lending : Majorly catering to secured loans Equipment finance and Loan Against property; The ticket sizes ranges from Rs 20 Lacs to Rs 100 Lacs

- In addition, the company has a license for Housing finance and the company plans to launch Home Loan product soon.

- The company is listed in BSE / NSE. Currently they have about 500 employees and the loan book of around Rs 1200 crores.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Evaluate proposals of debt and structured finance for real estate developers across India.

- Financial analysis of clients & markets, identification and optimization of risk identified. Structuring deals & presenting to senior management committee for approval.

- Establish a system for sourcing of transactions that fit into the credit lending philosophy of the company.

- Keeping abreast of all regulatory and economic developments taking place in the real estate sector and establish a system to record the same and spread knowledge/information within the organization in a systematic manner.

Requirements and Qualifications :

- Working with Banks or NBFC

- Good understanding of the financial markets, financial products

- Strong credit & structuring experience

- Ability to lead/work in a team environment and ability to consummate the transaction in a time-bound manner

- Ability to suggest alternative solutions for ring-fencing a given transaction and thereby act as enabler while safeguarding the interest of the Company.

- Ability to lead/work in a team environment

- Proven ability to work under stress

- Masters degree in finance (MBA) or a professional qualification (CA) is preferred

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Should be an expert in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
