Associate Director - Travel & Expense (Procurement)
You will have ability to lead a team, set strategic goals, and manage the day-to-day operations efficiently. -
- Proficiency with Concur/Cvent/SpotMe or any other meeting and event/travel and expense management tool.
- Experience with office suites and tools for managing registrations, databases and creating presentations.
- Proficiency in overseeing events and travel operations from conception to execution, including planning, logistics, and budget management.
- Ability to identify problems and offer solutions, especially when faced with unexpected challenges during events.
- Proficiency in overseeing events and travel operations from conception to execution, including planning, logistics, and budget management.
- You will have clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with internal teams, employees and event planners.
- You will have a good understanding of financial management, tracking expenses and helping to keep events within budget.
- Proficiency with data analysis and reporting software such as Power BI, Excel, Tableau, or specific T&E/M&E management software.
- Understanding and appreciating cultural differences across various regions, as well as adapting event strategies accordingly
- Experience in managing card products implementations/roll-outs.
- You will understand legal and regulatory compliance in various regions and the ability to mitigate risks associated with travel, events, and operations.
- You will have the capacity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changes and evolving needs in the global meetings, events, and travel industry.
