Associate Director- Transformation
About Finance Operations Division
The finance operations are Core to the Financial Management Group and is responsible to deliver an end to end accounting and finance services globally to the Group. In particular the functions within Fin. Ops have,
- Ownership of Finance Processes (are Global Process Owners)
- Finance Service delivery
- Own Continuous improvement / Operational Excellence
- Accountable to deliver Innovation / Automation
- Lead Transformation - finance data and technology
- Accounting Services - including Record to report; Product accounting production / analysis
- Compliance Services - including Reporting & Monitoring (e.g. Tax, Regulators)
- Reporting Services - including statutory, management, analyse and forecasting
- Risk management and Assurance over Fin Ops
- Ownership of process controls and reporting operational effectiveness to advisory / BU CFO
Key responsibilities:
- This role is ultimately accountable to the Global head of GFS is expected to provide direct review / oversight / sign off for the Transformation and Automation within Finance Operations Division. Broadly this role will have the following responsibilities:
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities and efficiencies within finance functions
- Evaluate best fit tools, technology and methods in close partnership with functions and technology
- Implement optimal process and automation design to deliver efficiencies
- Identify, manage and deliver the transformation projects through cross functional team engagement
- Anticipates required training and knowledge upgrade opportunities for the organisation
About you
- You are an experienced finance change and transformation professional with extensive exposure to Finance process and technology change management and its implementation.
- You have the ability to act as a role model to influence the behaviour of the wider high performing teams. Provide direction to people, projects and/or processes and create opportunities for others to develop and extend their skills and experience.
- With a flair of excellent interpersonal skills and a strong client orientation when planning and organising work.
To be successful in the role:
- Minimum 12-18 years of post-qualification relevant industry experience
- University Degree or Master Degree in any discipline
- Experience with finance transformation and change delivery.
- Certification on project management and process re-engineering methodology e.g. MBB
- Experience of working in an International environment will be an added advantage.
