Job Description :

Position : Associate Director - Talent Acquisition

Location : Gurgaon, India

Business Domain : Intellectual Property Services and Solutions

Role Details :

Reports to : AVP - HR and Strategic Initiatives

Reported by : Recruitment - Process Lead

Job Responsibilities :

This role is placed in the business landscape of growth and transformation. Hence, it becomes a critical piece in the HR. The incumbent will be accountable for further building & leading the function end-to-end. It involves participating with the leadership team in conceptualizing & framing the global talent acquisition strategy and to have a complete ownership of its execution as per the plan and budgets. The incumbent must have stature and confidence in presenting and interacting with all levels within the organization for all matters related to current & future talent acquisition.

Talent Acquisition Planning & Strategy :

- Participate in the management team meetings for the annual talent acquisition plan and strategy formulation for global and regional hiring needs

- Drive & execute the plan as per the manpower projection & budgets

- Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment & selection process for Band 6 to Band 4 globally

- Map, study and prepare for acquisition of the global talent pool available in the Asian, European and

- Assist AVP-HR in global hiring for Band 3 and above

- Manage the niche IP talent pool for business expansion need by ensuring round-the-year pipeline build up for critical roles

- Drive new creative and effective sourcing techniques, including social recruiting

- Ensuring right source mix and use of effective recruitment channels for sourcing

- Manage TA deliverables as per - Time to Fill- metrics 95% of the time

- Develops ready reckoner quantitative & qualitative performance standards for all recruiters.

- Provide leadership and direction for staff in sourcing and selection

- Drive processes, such as workforce planning, and/or analytics that generate insight and data regarding the talent base needs of the organization.

Campus Engagement Program :

- Develop university relationships and developing long-term programs to recruit and build talent pipeline for the future.

- Manage & scout for new avenues for the right skill set required for entry level business requirement

- Planning & management of annual campus drive at tech and non-tech colleges

- Relationship management with the placement cells of colleges

- Conducting sensitization, orientation or pre-placement workshop for IP profession in collaboration with hiring managers

Candidate Relationship Management :

- Act as the owner for driving employer branding

- Driving a process culture where all candidate experiences act as Employer Brand building, even those whose candidature does not convert into an employment with the company

- Carefully manage the interim period between offer acceptance to joining through the hiring managers to ensure effective on-boarding

- Design and manage touch points for all important candidate communication up till the closure of their probation period

Talent Acquisition Programs :

- Be the custodian of employee orientation and induction program, ClairLaunch

- Develops and implements marketing strategies in collaboration with the marcom department to increase employer brand value

- Collaborate with educational institutes for creative partnership programs for ensuring ready pool of talent for the base business scaling up

- Make employee referral program a key component of the talent acquisition process.

- Selection & empanelment of recruitment partners for contingency hiring

Job Skills Requirement:

- Experience mapping and mining global talent pools by applying progressive technology

- Strong eye on talent with a good track record of hiring talent for today and future needs at all levels of an organization

- Experience in progressive recruitment strategies to include social media and internet based mining for talent

- Experience in developing and driving aggressive recruitment metrics and analyzing trends and opportunities

- Must possess strong branding, sourcing, recruiting, and on-boarding skills/experiences

- Must be capable of operating strategically as well as project and tactically focused.

- Minimum 10 years of experience in HR with current role in Talent acquisition for minimum 6 years in amid-size knowledge/ domain driven industry

- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline, but must be a HR professional all through the career

- Specialization in Human Resources will be preferred

- Excellent project management skills

- Immaculate communication, articulation and presentation skills
