- Spearheading Warehouse core functions like Inbound / Outbound/ Inventory / Return Centre for the organization. - Planning, Design, Operationalization of Functional areas / new fulfilment centres. - Monitor FC Operations and identify improvement opportunities. - Work closely with Logistics and Retail Operations Heads on Operational Issues, - Work with External Supply Chain experts to implement global supply chain initiatives for the Organization - Accountable for Planning, Design, Operationalization of new optimized delivery networks and - delivery flexibility with the help of central teams. - Drive continuous improvement and operationalize Business process Innovation, Six Sigma, Lean - Accountable for Delivery Quality assurance. Six Sigma, Lean and other quality tools. - Develop, mentor and motivate the team spread across locations to achieve higher goals - Leverages the Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas for improvements and drive implementation of the same - Works closely with Central Team, Planning and Finance to ensure manpower requirements are met. - Deep dive and acquire an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices and apply when solving business problems - Support Design team in pilot &amp; roll out of new projects around performance improvement - Coordinate with various stakeholders &amp; support functions and identify/implement actions towards achievement of cost, speed and reliability targets - Business process improvements towards customer satisfaction &amp; efficiency with thorough understanding of lean management fundamentals
