Hiring for a FMCG Client
Budgeting, Month End closing & Reporting:
- Drive COGS budget deliveries and provide regular updates to business on key drivers.
- Leading the monthly closing and reporting process for COGS (Actuals, Variance, future outlook etc.) for Local and area management and ensuring timely generation and submission of required reports
- Work with stakeholders for proactive identification of business risk & opportunities and develop mitigation plan for risks.
Driving Supply Chain Performance through:
- COGS monthly dashboards and regular reviews both at plants and HO
- Continuous review of variances with Plan, recommending corrective action where appropriate and follow through to ensure the variances are minimized.
Driving Supply Chain Cost improvement program
- Drive the cost savings pipeline generation process in SC by providing insights on various opportunity areas through business understanding and continuous benchmarking.
- Partner with teams in working on cost improvement projects and help them to develop the business case for agreed initiatives
- Supporting Supply Chain in decision making process and its review:
Capital Projects
- Help SC in developing CAPEX proposals by providing business inputs (DCF template or otherwise)
- Regular monitoring through CAPEX trackers and drive committed delivery.
Providing business inputs for assessment and appraisal of:
- Sourcing decision, any commercial opportunities related to negotiations, tax structuring, etc.
- Drive cash flow through optimizing inventories and better sourcing terms
- Network change or restructuring
New Product / New Variant/ New SKU introduction
- Leading the COGS and GM calculation for any changes including new product introductions.
- Member of the innovation meetings
Drive Co-manufacturing Profitability
- Work with team to drive relevant localization opportunities of sourcing
- Work on Scenario Building In-house Vs Co-man on all new business initiatives aiming at lowest delivered cost with minimum capital commitment
- Partner with leadership team on negotiations with co-man both on rates and engagement terms
