Associate Director - Statutory & Regulatory Compliance - CA - Consulting Firm

JOB DESCRIPTION

The incumbent shall be responsible for undertaking assignments of statutory & regulatory compliances prescribed under Income Tax Act,1961 of firm's foreign clientele, structuring the business models and transaction to mitigate tax impact with in the regulatory framework besides obtaining requisite regulatory and statutory registrations/approvals. The incumbent shall additionally be responsible for advising & managing statutory compliances prescribed under other applicable laws like Corporate Laws,Foreign Exchange Management Act.

Candidate : Qualified Chartered Accountant with excellent similar post qualification professional experience and having good knowledge of MS-Office,Internet, E-mail etc., & skills of working under electronic environment, operating related softwares, accompanied with good written & verbal English communication skills.

- Preparation and maintenance of books of accounts and financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards and other applicable regulations and guidelines issued by the Competent authority.

- Preparation of periodic MIS reports of financial information in the prescribed format.

- Statutory compliances of direct and indirect tax laws, including Income tax, Service tax,Excise, Customs, VAT & CST or any otherlaw in force.

- Regulatory compliances of corporate and allied laws, including Companies Act, FEMA,SEBI, SEZ, FCRA, etc.

- Coordination with Statutory Auditors, Tax Auditors & Transfer Pricing Auditors, and providing them the requisite financial & accounting information.

- Involvement into Assessment Proceedings/Litigation and Advisory Services.

- Should have a consulting mindset.

- Should be open to periodic travelling.
