Associate Director/Senior Manager - Analytics/Business Intelligence - Financial Services Firm (15-19 yrs)

About the role :

Leading Financial services organization is looking for a Senior Manager BI professionals. This is a fast growing team so this number would rapidly grow. The team composition is fairly heterogeneous in terms of competencies which include Data Science, Business Intelligence, Fraud Intelligence.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

- Lead, develop and coach a diverse team of Analytics experts including seasoned and tenured Managers and Consultants

- Grow and build the team through right Talent acquisition to support different functions

- Work closely with senior leaders in US and India to establish/ refine the roadmap for the group

- Ensure the team is aligned and structured to deliver as per expectations from a established and credible CoE

- Provide guidance for strategic deliverable and identify solutions to enhance business processes and decision making by proposing the right Analytics techniques and work-around

- Manage team and individual performance and work on optimizing the Talent mix within the group (by working closely with HR and other senior leaders)

- Liaise with senior stakeholders to gather needs and emerging requirements and build senior level relationships

- Own strategic projects, as and when required, as a senior Individual contributor

- Propose ideas and possible solutions to organizational imperatives like Data strategy, Tools and Vendor optimization, etc.

Educational Qualification :

- Post-graduate degree in Business Management/Statistics/Economics/Finance from a known and established institution

Required Experience and Skills :

- 16-18 years of experience in Analytics, Business Strategy, Business Intelligence

- Thorough knowledge of tools and techniques in the space of Analytics and BI (Data extraction, Transformation, Analyses and Packaging/ Visualization)

- Prior experience of leading knowledge and Consulting oriented

teams and individuals

- Excellent Data interpretation and Business story telling skills with demonstrated prior record of delivering presentations and solutions to senior leaders (CXO level)

- Experience with project managing complex Analytics, Strategy projects

- Minimum of 6-8 years of People management and Leadership experience

Must have capabilities :

- Strong BI and Analytics foundation (we are not looking for a Data Engineer/Architect) but someone who has leveraged and interpreted data to drive business decisions

- Excellent and inspiring Communication skills

- Hands-on experience with Data (not so much tools) and working with senior stakeholders

- Very solid Project Management experience with a in-depth understanding of how data drives and transforms businesses
