Associate Director - Regulatory Reporting - Financial Firm

We are currently looking for a Associate Director - Regulatory Reporting role with one of the leading financial firms at Gurgaon.

Responsible for the preparation and submission of regulatory compliance obligations to international regulators. It also involves the implementation of regulatory changes being introduced by regulators and driving changes to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the process. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders in performing detailed reviews as well as ensuring delivery of regulatory compliance and other reporting obligations.

Responsibilities:

- Managing delivery of statistical regulatory compliance obligations in the international region

- Managing delivery of funded balance sheet to investors, analysts and rating agencies

- Manage change management (including communicating changes, facilitate training)

- Understanding operational risks and ensuring controls meet internal risks policies

- Effective engagement with stakeholders in various geographies; managing the relationship at leadership levels, and providing timely/accurate operational updates and issue resolution

Requirement -

- Outstanding academic background in a financial or quantitative degree e.g. actuarial, economics, engineering, mathematics or accounting

- Strong people management and leadership skills

- Sound decision-making approach and sense of accountability/ownership of key deliverables

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and guide team members on key priorities

- Strong vision for the function with a desire to lead and guide others to achieve goals and objectives

- Strong communication skills and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best outcome for the group and escalation of issues on a timely basis
