Associate - Electrical
Required Skills:
As an experienced Associate / Associate Director, it is expected that you can demonstrate:
- Proficiency as a technical and commercial leader in the Electrical discipline, with a track record of exceptional delivery over a sustained period within the industry
- Leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver project solutions in a coordinated project environment.
- Comfortable in a client-facing role, leading presentations, and managing complex stakeholder groups to ensure consensus.
- Design and delivery of High Voltage Systems, highly resilient systems, and specialist Extra Low Voltage systems.
- High level of technical competency in all aspects of electrical engineering, with a broad understanding of other building services and related disciplines.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening) and competent at presenting.
- Chartered with a relevant institution, e.g., CIBSE or IET.
Responsibilities and Accountability:
Naturally, the responsibilities of an Associate / Associate Director will be highly varied, but can typically be expected to comprise:
- Acting as Project Leader for multi-disciplinary projects, working with a Project Director to take overall responsibility for technical and financial performance.
- Being a technical champion for delivering high-quality, robust designs, particularly in High Voltage systems and resilient designs.
- Participating in and ensuring delivery of high-level project technical/quality reviews.
- Mentoring more junior employees and ensuring meaningful delegation within the team.
- Contributing to project delivery programmes and scheduling required resources.
- Supporting rigorous analysis of performance across the department.
- Organizing project workshops and regular project reviews.
- Promoting Company integrated services to potential clients and maintaining key client relationships.
- Ensuring projects are financially successful.
