Position - Associate Director - Programme Management ( Infrastructure Domain )

Reporting To : Executive Director

Job Description :

Job Purpose :

- Provide technical leadership to the learning and research activities of the entire institute.

Job Outline :

- Coordinate and lead the design and delivery of the one year Certificate course on Leadership in Infrastructure and Real Estate Management

- Support the development of additional educational and learning programs in Infrastructure Management

- Support studies and projects secured by the Institute

- Contribute to research work in infrastructure

Job Interface/Relationships:

Internal External:

- Coordinating with faculty, academic support administration, center for executive education, Operations, Finance and HR teams for the day-to-day requirements of the Institute

- Interacting with students / student clubs and participants of the Institutes programs to work on any possible event, research where they can be part of.

- Coordinating with the affiliate faculties of the centre for their research. - Liaison with any external organization / body for joint research, conferences / events.

- Lookout for any possible tie ups with research and educational institutes for long term tie ups and collaboration.

- Outreach to donors for possible funding of projects

Key Responsibilities/% Time Spent:

- Leading the design and delivery of the one year Leadership in Infrastructure and Real Estate Management Program 50

- Support design and delivery of other learning and educational programs 20

- Support ongoing research initiatives and develop ideas for new research and study 20

- Assist the Executive Director in the overall administration of the institute. 10

- Delivery of the Leadership in Infrastructure and Real Estate Management Program Smooth delivery of the program Level of satisfaction of the participants and faculty 50%

- Operational and Logistical support Work on any operational issue of the Institute 20%

Any Other Significant Input:

- Is expected to support the identification of suitable faculty to teach at various programs and coordinate effectively with them to ensure integrity in the over structure of the program contents and also in the smooth conduct of a high quality program

Job Specification

Knowledge: Qualification Masters degree in a field related to one or more of the Infrastructure Management sectors such as Urban Planning, Energy, Transport, Real estate, Finance, Economics, etc.

Skills: Technical Financial analysis, economic analysis, structuring PPP, learning design, and/or a suitable engineering domain

Behavioral Excellent interpersonal skills:

Experience: 10 - 15 years or more

- Candidates willing to relocate are welcome.

- Excellent communication is important.

We would ideally look at a candidate from an Infra Structure based reputed organisations. Prior experience of handling L&D/ market Research / advisory / consulting work will be an added advantage since the role would be required to work and supervise a lot of research work for the institute at regular intervals. Also the person would be required to develop and supervise a lot of course contents and hence L&D exposure would also help.
