Associate Director - Product Management - Internet/Online - IIM/ISB/FMS/MDI

We are looking for talented senior product professionals to define, execute, and deliver world-class experiences for our customers and driver partners. The ideal candidate has experience working in and leading a talented product team and would love to bring fresh ideas to tackle challenges in conceptualizing and designing for the mobility ecosystem in India.

Your Part:

- Internalize and deeply understand Ola's mission and strategies

- Manage all aspects of the product life cycle, including customer needs, problem definition, product strategy/roadmap, requirement definition, execution and delivery, inference and insights, iteration & improvisation.

- Work closely with business, operations, process, design, engineering, project management, marketing, legal, finance and other key stakeholders to prioritize, develop and deliver products, in an agile environment

- Mentor and Manage Product Managers and Senior Product Managers & hire and build a strong team

Qualifications

- 6-14 years of overall experience depending on how fast you have grown in your career. We would be looking for evidence that your experiences are commensurate with the kind required from the person in this role.

- 3+ years of prior product management experience preferably in an internet based company which preferably is a best-in-class large company or a respected disruptor startup.

- 2+ years of people management experience is necessary (having managed product managers is strongly preferred). This role is not for people currently in an individual contributor role.

- A bachelor's degree or master's degree in a numerically inclined discipline such as Engineering, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics preferably from a premium institute.

- MBA degree from premier institute and prior startup experience is preferred but not necessary
