Role & Responsibilities
- Lead in helping the organization to have the best of the Catalogue in terms of Products, Brands and Competitive pricing
- Responsible for driving the merchandising strategy for the categories by growing the brands, increasing the marketplace vendors pan India and executing the API integrations with suppliers
- Provide a clear roadmap that orchestrates all relevant techno functional aspects into one actionable plan
- Provide leadership, support and supervision to the Procurement and Operations team - inspire, motivate, train and mentor
- Effectively communicate and interact with other departments and business partners in a manner that fosters teamwork and unity
- Strategically - lead the department - monitor SLAs, competition analysis , Monthly MIS Reports with Client Servicing teams , analytics driven insights and research, give direction to teams within Department and to Client Servicing /Business Development teams
- Operationally - ensure a healthy team to manage the workflow and volume of business
- Develop systems/processes for smooth flow and checks to avoid errors and time guidelines.
- Delegate, guide and control all operational work
- Accountable for ensuring the BIW meets the agreed service levels for operational performance such as on time delivery, adherence to processes and meeting the TAT for rewards and margins
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
- Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies
- Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Partner with vendors to ensure vendor compliance and scalable communication processes
- Will be responsible handling a team of 10-12 members
Requirements :
- Proven working experience of 15+ years in the similar industry
- Experience in catalogue Management, Sourcing and order processing
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in "reading" the market
- Talent in negotiations and networking
- Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Should have managed a team of 10-12 professionals
- Experience in building and inspiring teams
