Associate Director - PMO (Finance) - (Diversity)
The Individual:
- A minimum of 12-14 years of work experience including at least 3-4 years in project management in a leading professional services firm (e.g. international consulting firm, Big 4, IT Enabled Services Industry) or existing PMO captive involved in Tax, Audit or related compliance processes.
- Good understanding of project and programme management methodologies around Engagement Administration services, Client Set-up, Client-Support,Client Transition Management, Engagement Financials, Billing and invoicing, Contract Management, Business Operations, Data and MI etc
- Language skills: English (proficient). Other global language capabilities will be an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, MS-Project, MS-Visio and Excel.
- Experience with other PM Tools such as MS-Visio, Clarizen, JIRA and Six Sigma awareness is nice to have.
- Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders around the globe
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment
- Organised approach and able to work under pressure
- CAPM or PMP / PRINCE 2 Certification is desired.
Expected Skills:
Functional experience:
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience of 3-4 years in the following areas:
- PMO support for large transformation engagements (IT, Finance, HR, Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain/Operations) for US, European or Global Clients in offshore delivery support capacity or as in Captives.
- Industry sector experience may include but not limiting to telecommunications, technology, energy, pharmaceuticals/healthcare, financial services (insurance, banking) etc.
- Supporting design and development of PMO solutions for large engagements
- Full PMO experience including exposure to PM tools, building teams and experience of working in an Agile environment would be useful.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and manage people through a cross matrix reporting structure.
- Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data quickly and draw meaningful insights
- Knowledge of Programme/Project Management methodologies with full project reporting and governance.
- Tax experience: US, UK individual Tax, Finance and accounting, budgeting is nice to have.
