Associate Director - Pedagogy - NGO

Role and Responsibilities:

- Person should understand curriculum and pedagogy

- Research and practice

- Provide supervision, oversight and support to different partner organisations that need to come together for executing against the strategy

- Develop and manage relationships with key senior officials, influencers and policymakers at the state level and national level

- Would need to own early learning /foundation learning research

- Should be able to scan the country for good classroom practices in other states

- Work with the govt. and delivery solution organisations to arrive at the right way; it can be objective and iterative

- Person should be able to think at scale e.g. right now the solution is for one year, but should be able to think how it will play out over 5 to 10 years

- People who have headed literacy programs in delivery organisations would be ideal
