Associate Director/Manager - Valuations/Mergers & Acquisitions - CA/CWA

Domain: Mergers & Acquisitions and Valuations

Roles and Responsibility:

- Managing and leading the engagements pertaining to valuations for fundraising, acquisitions, mergers, buy-outs, joint ventures, tax & regulatory and accounting purposes.

- Develop deep sectoral expertise in chosen sectors and maintain a database of industry information, deal with ready reference and actively generate leads and build networks proactively develop and maintain relationships at management level.

- Client management and interaction and cross sell opportunities.

- Take responsibility for managing and driving a valuation engagement, should have the ability to identify and assist in generating new business.

- Continue to broaden responsibility for people by taking on an appropriate internal role or initiative.

- You should be able to lead and manage a team; coach, involve and develop other team members to help enhance their skills and knowledge .

- Strong network of relationship amongst the valuations community or large corporates and network with internal teams , by actively promoting 'our values' through interactions internally and externally.

- You should have a complete and thorough understanding of Financial & Valuations methodologies and products (Business, Intangibles, ESOP, Option valuation).

- You should be able to build a healthy pipeline of opportunities and mandates in the specific valuation areas by continuously developing technical expertise and industry/ business/ sector knowledge.

- Coordinating and managing the financial, tax, commercial and operational aspects to valuations and contribute to knowledge management.

Skills Required:

- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

- High level of competence in verbal and written communication skills

- High level of competency required in leading the valuation engagements independently.

Additional Information :

Qualification Required: Must be a CA (ideally first attempt/ MBA from a reputed institute)

Experience Required: 5-7 years of post qualification experience in Mergers and Acquisitions and Valuations or in a similar environment.

The position usually reports to: Director/ Partner
